It’s Who We Are!

Piechnik’s Greenhouse (pronounced like “picnic”) was established in 1984 by the brother and sister team of Stan & Diane Piechnik. The business started with 1,000 square feet of growing space and produced a few hanging baskets and flower flats to sell at the Flint City Market. We gradually expanded to more than 75,000 square feet of growing space on McCumsey Road in Clio, Michigan. In the Spring of 2014, we expanded to add Piechnik’s Garden Gate, located on North Rochester Road in Oakland Township, Michgan. We are happy to announce this expansion, along with the addition of our new partner at the Garden Gate Location, Matt Colonius. We are presently growing a large variety of perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, vegetable flats and specialty pots for your deck, planted in numerous plant combinations for the sun or shade and everything in between.

At Piechnik’s Greenhouse and Piechnik’s Garden Gate, we strive to give our customers the largest selection of items to fit your garden needs, from bulk seed for your veggie garden, to bedding plants and perennials, hanging baskets and patio planters. We have expanded garden decor showrooms at both locations, with more than 4,000 square feet of everything from wind chimes to bird baths. Piechnik’s also carries the region’s largest display of gazing globes, imported from all over the world. We have spent the last 24 years producing the best quality and largest selection, to be sold for the fairest price.
